Here’s what you need to know about services for LGBTQ clients at this health center:
When you call for an appointment to begin or continue hormone therapy, one of our front desk staff members will help you schedule your appointment and talk with you about what to expect.

At your first appointment, our provider will take time to:

Review your medical history
Discuss your goals and expectations
Confirm your understanding of the potential risks and side effects
Answer any questions you have
Connect you to available community resources
Your first appointment also allows our provider to order the necessary lab work to ensure you are medically eligible to begin hormone therapy.

Clients under our care receive a written prescription for hormones which they fill at a pharmacy. Planned Parenthood does not provide pharmacy services for these hormones."

"Fayetteville Black Pride is a non profit organization based in the heart of Fayetteville, North Carolina. Founded by Alvernian Rafeek Davis, The purpose of Fayetteville Black Pride is to increase access to health and wellness services in our LGBTQIA communities, improve relations between "straight" and "gay" communities and increase safe spaces for the youth. Our annual Pride weekend will bring together community based organizations, education/medical based institutions, and people from across the country to celebrate the rich cultural heritage of our Southern community."
