"Welcome to the Dr. Jesse R. Peel LGBTQ Center at East Carolina University. As part of the Department of Intercultural Affairs within Student Involvement and Leadership at ECU, the LGBTQ Center works in conjunction with our colleagues in the Ledonia Wright Cultural Center, the Women and Gender Office, the Center for Leadership and Civic Engagement, and the Lucille Gorham Intergenerational Community Center to cultivate a transformative and culturally competent community centered in intercultural learning. We strive to foster understanding and acceptance of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer community. The Peel LGBTQ Center works each day to develop tomorrow’s leaders to serve and inspire positive change."

"Fayetteville Black Pride is a non profit organization based in the heart of Fayetteville, North Carolina. Founded by Alvernian Rafeek Davis, The purpose of Fayetteville Black Pride is to increase access to health and wellness services in our LGBTQIA communities, improve relations between "straight" and "gay" communities and increase safe spaces for the youth. Our annual Pride weekend will bring together community based organizations, education/medical based institutions, and people from across the country to celebrate the rich cultural heritage of our Southern community."

"The LGBTQ Center of Durham is committed to serving the City and County of Durham as well as the surrounding counties to ensure all folks have the resources necessary to live full, joyful lives. We provide space and resources to all people."
